OCA Guide To Laundry
- Collect quarters and dirty clothes.
- Sort dirty clothes by color and fabric type (or buy clothes all the same kind and color).
- Pre-treat stains during sort.
- Choose water temperature and washer settings as recommended on clothing labels.
- Insert money.
- Start water flow, add detergent, and let it dissolve.
- Load clothing in washer loosely to 7/8 full. Do not pack down.
- Close lid and wait for end of cycle.
- Remove lint from dryer filter.
- Choose dryer settings as recommended on clothing labels.
- Load clothing in dryer. Do not pack down.
- Insert money.
- Dry only as long as needed to remove dampness.
- Hang or fold garments neatly.
